Don't Say It!

"This was an unpublished experiment. It's all tied up with repressing sexual expression. The difficulty of sharing knowledge or wisdom, of speaking the truth, the possible danger of revealing who and what we actually are. Is the physical excitement generated by the suppression or the leaks spilling forth? I don't know. Like many of the drawings I did for myself, this one was inspired by a dream. You imagine that you know precisely what the meaning conveyed by certain ideas, and then you wake up and the rational mind questions and reexamines those conclusions. I hadn't looked at this drawing in many years and I think that every time I revisit it I'll come away with a new interpretation. I guess that's why I drew it, it covered ground that I haven't developed the words for yet."
