Leander Abandoned
 

Hey Guys. I'm not normally a fan of the single figure but the title came to me in a dream (stop laughing! Some of my best stuff comes from sleeping) and I could hardly have the subject be "abandoned" while in the company of somebody else. Leander is crying, not scared. He's been informed by texting (probably the most trite method imaginable) that whom he believed to be the "love of his life" has decided otherwise. I'm not sure the viewer needs a background story for this one because it's just a stunned guy dejected and pleading to the "audience" for sympathy and understanding. The title lays out the circumstances.  Nah, let them interpret it as they please. Heartbreak is universally understood. I like that Leander isn't embarrassingly overwrought, he's still clinging to his dignity. I also like his protruding gut, an indication that he thought it was the "real thing" and could forego maintaining. Hahaha!!!
