Leg Up

This was a study done for a larger experimental piece ultimately titled "Gingham." There were to be both horizontal and vertical mini-lines involved in the process so I wanted to present as many diagonal lines as possible in the base drawing, hence the position of the leg dicated where everything else need fall together to make the pair horny but at the same time compatable with the improvised technique I was employing. I needed to have a blocked out reference for where shadows fell and how they interacted with the background. It's a nice study of what I consider a successful idea.
