Sixty-Nine With Cat

This has got to be older than it says. I think this drawing was published in Torso... and the fingers look more 1987 than 97. Hmmm.... This is all about stripes, which are the quintessential contrast. Dark, light, dark, light, like the flesh tones of these guys, like the patterns on the textiles, like the coloration on the cat. The different values of the spectrum define each other more succinctly by abutting directly against each other. the yin and yang, glass half full or half empty. The light and dark each describe the parameters of the other. Which way is up in a 69 drawing? Doesn't matter, you can position it however you please.
