"You win, it's yours."

I've always been fascinated by the dynamic inherent in any mentoring relationship — the coach/athlete being a primary example. There's a couple of things that make this drawing special for me. I got to incorporate my first ever cauliflower ear, and I like the placement of the clipboard blocking the view of the pinky exploration. There's a nice element of casual subtlety... an almost imperceptible gesture that lays the groundwork for all kinds of future involvement between the two characters providing our curly-haired wrestler triumphs in the match ahead of him! Ha! This kind of drawing excites me because it piques the imagination of the viewer into extrapolating all sorts of scenarios between these two and contributing to the narrative offered. Anyway, it got me off (a few times) and I hope it does the same for you guys!!!
