This was a
spot illustration for a story concerning a young American soldier
captured by Iraqi forces (clearly this was done before "Bush's Folly"
as there is no official enemy army to contend with in the current
invasion/debacle). A heated love blossoms between the Arab captain
and the blond detainee. I've always been a proponent of gay sex
solving any disagreements and rifts among men. The need to get off
physically should always trump all prior religious, political and
racial commitments. In a dream-life where violence and stupidity can
be overcome by throbbing erections, this drawing epitomizes how vast
chasms can be bridged with some affectionate animal lust. And I always
like using contrasting flesh tones.
