Valentine — 2008

 

 

Just how many years before this sweet "innocence"
is lost due to societal persecution to be "normal,"
or school bullying against those who are "different,"
or unfortunate peer pressure to be "mainstream,"
or religious oppression from an outdated "ideal?"
For now, we can only hope to celebrate "love"
whenever, wherever, and however "it happens."
